About Mr. Ankush Mittal:
Mr. Ankush Mittal, the distinguished speaker at the parent orientation, possesses an exemplary educational background. He obtained his B.Tech. and Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi in 1996 and 1998, respectively. During his academic journey, he showcased exceptional academic prowess, securing the Samsung Fellowship for his outstanding performance. In 2001, he received a nomination for the outstanding PhD award from the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at The National University of Singapore.
Dr. Mittal’s career has been adorned with numerous achievements. He has served as a faculty member at the National University of Singapore for two years and later as an Associate Professor at IIT-Roorkee for seven years. With ten years of experience as Director of Research in College of Engineering Roorkee and Graphic Era University, Dr. Mittal has played a vital role in fostering a research culture among undergraduate students. He has published over 270 research papers in esteemed journals and conferences, including IEEE transactions, Springer, and Elsevier publications. Furthermore, Dr. Mittal has authored three books published by Pearson (India), Springer (Germany), and IGI Global (USA). His extensive mentoring includes guiding 15 Ph.D. theses, 43 M.Tech. theses, and over 50 B.Tech. theses.

Dr. Mittal’s contributions have garnered numerous national and international awards. He was honored with the IIT Roorkee Outstanding Teacher Award, an accolade given to only two faculty members out of a pool of over 500. Additionally, he received the IBM International Faculty Award and the IIT Roorkee Star Performer Award. The President of India bestowed upon him the Young Scientist Award from The National Academy of Sciences India, while the Prime Minister of India presented him with the Young Scientist Award from the Indian Science Congress Association.

Beyond his outstanding professional achievements, Mr. Ankush Mittal, also known as Abhirama das, has devoted himself to preaching Krishna consciousness for over 25 years. He has utilized his successful professional front to connect with intellectuals in society. His preaching efforts have reached college students, corporate professionals, and individuals from various walks of life. Abhirama das has conducted workshops on character-building for school principals and teacher training sessions in prestigious institutions such as IITs and BITS Pilani. His dedication to spreading Srila Prabhupada’s teachings has resulted in the transformation of numerous individuals who now chant 16 rounds and are deeply committed to the devotional path.
