A historic event took place in our BGIS campus when Member of Parliament, Mathura, Srimati Hema Malini Ji accepted the invitation to visit our New Gurukula Campus. She is doing 7 days Braj Mandal Parikrama and our CAO HG Radhakanta Prabhuji is helping her to visit different temples and places.
To welcome her in the campus HG Pancha Gauda Prabhuji, President of our ISKCON Vrindavan Temple and Srimati Kalawati Mataji, Principal of Braj Gopika Vidya Mandal Nandgao came along with some of her school students. The children welcomed her by doing kirtan, showering flowers and reciting verses of Bhagavad Gita and she was very happy and impressed to see this.
1. At first, she inaugurated the Gauranga Garden in our campus, then she wished to see the entire campus. She was very delighted after seeing the whole campus.
2. Then she addressed the students and teachers, after that HG Radhakanta Prabhuji explains how she is working for the devotees in Braj Vrindavan.
3. The project which she has taken up for the development of 84 Kros Braja mandala parikrama route- she thinks this to be her service towards Lord Krishna.
4. Hema Malini ji expressed her complete belief in Lord Krishna and his ideologies. She beautifully explained why Lord krishna is adorable and accessible to her!
5. Being asked she has also said about her firm belief in Krishna’s teachings, the Gita, which is relevant even in today’s fast paced times. Each and every shlokas, all the principles which Lord Krishna has explained in the Gita, make sense even today.
6. Hema Malini ji has been giving classical performances related to stories of Radha-Krishna for many years. In the past too she has launched her devotional album.
7. She has given her valuable advice to put up all the principles given by Lord Krishna, into practice in our day to day lives and situations. As Lord Krishna’s teachings do make life easy to live.
8. Lord Narsimha Book and Sri Jagannath Mahaprasad were presented to her by our Vice Principal HG Leela Govind Prabhuji.
Finally before leaving, she has expressed her happiness and gratitude for inviting her to visit Gurukula. She was delighted meeting the children here and she has also expressed her desire to visit here again. We cordially wish her presence again and again and may she give us a chance to serve her.
